This week we have been doing Notan art at school. This is my third one, we are doing this one with a colored background. You rip up bits of paper (Colored) and glue them down. I haven't finished yet but I will post with my finished art after.
Notan art is a form of art that reflects the negative and positive space, the black space is negative and white is positive (I am covering my white blue on this one). The picture above is about two foxes meeting in the middle of the separation of light and dark.
I really like Notan art, I think I will do more of it later on when I can design it really really well. It was a bit hard cutting out some shapes!
If you want to make one you will need:
Scissors
Glue stick
A pencil
A white piece of paper
A black piece of paper
